JTAG dm500 problem

Cut a long tail short, i cant get jtag_windows ( dreamflash) to connect. ive tried all kinds of timning turning the power on but no joy .

can i change the port settings or sometihng. I get green light on the front but thats it.

is your jtag cable too long

i think you only need summat about 4 to 5 inches

no the cable is small about 5 inch , its worked along time ago so i know its not the JTAG.
