hmm slight problem with cccam

hi peeps got a dumb server running cccam 2.1.4

cards updated and working fine
i got 15 clients with zero reshare
when 9 are active together 1 or 2 get freezing / pixalating

cards running 6mhz

i heard a dm500s could handle more than 40 clients but im strugling to handle over 8 clients ?

any way to improve or is it time i got my pc server up and running??

Looks like your upload speed is to blame mate

I couldn't run a server with 10 client boxes on 10mb I had to upgrade to 50mb to get a clearer picture on the clients

cant see why you couldnt mate, as each client only uses tiny bits of info every how ever often 8-10 secs i think, it doesnt really hog the bandwidth. obviously the more bandwidth the better like, but it hardly even dents the 10mb connection!

Well its a bit higher then mine but not sure if it would effect it,




I was expecting maybe to see some packet loss which might have explained what was wrong,
think its time to let someone who knows exactly how those figures affect it or even if they do to advise m8 sorry
 
the 1 client thats having problems i noticed somthing today:

STAR One (nok) | 0.0984s

at that moment i had 6 clients active
5 watching star one
1 watching star gold

ecm times average 0.0998s for each client

but this 1 client recieve nok??

he does not have any other shares / server so cant be gettin ecm from some were else

could it be clients connection causing the problem or is it my end??

Nok means he has requested a channel you cant open, it will still show the last channel they were on, have you asked them to check the ecm timing from there end, if all your other clients are ok it's unlikely to be your server and a 500s can handle 30 clients no problem 1/2 a meg upload should be plenty also as long s your not hammering downloads also.

but the problem is i can open that channel
today i checked and he's recieving ecm and its ok on same channel

plus im not hammering downloads either

gona get the box of him and reflash it and see what happens

i got a feeling the problem is his end, plus he never turns box of all ways either on pay channel or free channel
 
ive noticed this problem with clones my dm500 can handle about 15 shares and my mates was running nearly 30 without a problem both of us are on 50mb also my 800 handles 20-30 anymore than that and i notice glitches but the same mates 800 has 40+ without a problem im on sim1 hes on 2.1 i know this could be a shares prob but over time my mates as allways come out on top when we have lost and gained new shares i would say just try new images and see if you get better results. Another mate bought a dm500 from dealxtreme and that seems better than the one i have.
edit: i forgot to add me and my mate both got our 500's and 800's from differnet suppliers.
 
hmm just noticed it only does this on the client that updates my card

strange??
