C & F Line Usernames & Passwords

Just wondering if the username / password for the C & F Lines has to be the actual credentials of the box or can it be ones you set?

i.e.
default box username = root
default box password = dreambox

so would my F line look like
F: root dreambox 0 0 0 {0:0:1}

or could i use the following
F: experience footy 0 0 0 {0:0:1}

and still keep the default box details root / dreambox?

The user name and password can be anything you want.
Most people use the name of the client i.e mum/sister etc and any password you like

If you were sharing to 2 boxs (mum & sister) would you advise using 2 F lines or is 1 enough?

F: mum footy 0 0 0 {0:0:1}

F: sister footy 0 0 0 {0:0:1}

Yes mate. 2 f lines
Your clines should be unique
c: yourip 12000 mum footy

dont use your ip address for the cline though, sign up for a dyndns account then download dyndns updater, then if your service provider change your ip which they do from time to time it will auto update it!

he may well know that already mate, aslong as hes gets the info he needs thats all that matters, thats the good thing about this forum, help comes from all over.

think i've got everything sorted - just one last question

Do i need to put the sly boxkey in the client dreambox to get movie channels or is it ok to just put it in the server dreambox?
