is there a refresh channel list on pli jade?

i have a 500 with pli jade on it, i keep getting the channels go black, even the fta. now i had this problem before with a 500 cable box, when u refreshed the channel list went away. so im wanting to try that first before i start reflashing etc.

Stef Rayhan had similar problem and ended up reflashing box and as far as I'm aware his is ok now

i was wanting to try the refresh first. then reflash. reflashing is a pain the ass, i have to go to the pub and pick up a pc.

are ya sure its nothing to do with your internet mate, and its not clearing the channels properly!

50 meg, running like a champion. fta is going black too.

have you checked in satfinder to make sure its locking on properly mate!

its fine one minute, then gone the next.

do you mean the satelite lock goes then comes back or just the channels, it could be a case of your signal isnt strong enough!

channels are going m8, its fine for a few minutes. there is another thread here getting the same problem. say i go to sly movies, then flick over to bbc1. they are there fine. after i try and go back to sly movies they are gone, black screen. the problem has been solved by reflashing umpteen times however i had problems like this when i used to play with the 500c. all u did to clear it up wash refresh your channel list from the blue button. hence why i was asking if there was a channel refresh button in the menus somwhere.

if u knew me m8, u would know i dont need an excuse... lol roud:

try updating your pli image to the latest 1 via the network on your box, im on the latest pli image mate and not had any problems yet!

ok, what buttons is it under? ill give that a wee go. the most up to date software is on it atm.

im using release 1.9 16.09.2010 mate

thats the one i had on, so i just downloaded it anyway and it reflashed from the net. i know i dont need to but im currently scanning for services. ill make up a bouquet from dbedit after it scans.

worth a try mate hopefully it sorts your problem out!

ok, the reflash seems to have helped. cline back in and up and running atm. havent put a bouquet in yet try that next i think. and i never put the new skin on either. i think ill leave it too.

heres some for you mate, not my work, but its a start for you if you havnt got any!

i think this is what is causing the problem. either dbedit is not doing its job or the other bouquet i had was 'broke'.
