VU+ Solo2 i've problem with with vu+ solo2 clone version

i update the black hole image in my vu solo2 start the box correctly but i get black screen. help me to solve this

do you have clone or genuine solo 2?
if genuine just reflash image again if clone then you maybe in bother..
 
i've clone version vu plus solo 2 with this board information
ms731_main_v1.1
2012.11.06

i put the the black hole 2.1.7 sunray remiMAHER version in this but not work. just boot with black hole logo and than refresh screen and black screen only.

Receiver Display work properly.

i want to update it black hole 2.1.7 version

Try the V4 clone images mate.
 
i have this issue on 2 receivers both boxes would not flash from usb drive so done the bootloader updater ect now they both seemed BRICKED just a black screen

i know i will never ever buy a cloned box ever again total waste of money and as for any help from the peps i bought them off HI SPEED well what an absolute joke they dident have a clue were to send me for the files i found them myself

so now im down £200 lol i could of bought a genuine one so i bought 20 v8s open boxes and sold most so got my money back but still in a way down £200

i will try a few other pen drives later now to rule that out but its not flashing ANY image still and now just got black screen on both

You knew you were buying a clone so you should have done your home work first..
Not the sellers fault..if you have flashed box with a non clone genuine image then you have most likely wiped the flash due to vu anti clone measures.
If you have flashed ONLY clone images then it will be just a case of flashing the correct image for your clone box...

Use a clean formatted fat32 USB drive and ENSURE you flash correct image for your box..find out what make of clone it is first..Lourison,dragonworth,sunray..

yeah i knew they were clones what i never knew was that they are unable to flash via usb so you have to do what i done as you cant flash with rs232 or use any other kind of way like DCC

they could of just emailed me the items needed but no i found them myself

as for flashing the correct image i had blackhole on and working to a point but was crashing a lot hence why i wanted to flash new image but NO IMAGE WOULD work as it would not flash via usb but now i done the bootloader its fooooooked black screen how can doing what i was told from the seller render my box useless maybe its just me and i have not used the right image but i have two the same receivers and from what i read lourison is mine but if you can tell me any different please do lol im all for any help and info i have vu solo2 se from a site called dhagte from sellers HI SPEED
 
Have you been trying to flash with genuine images or clone safe images?
What boxes do you have solo2 se clone boxes..
If you flash an incorrect image this will render your box useless..now you have Sussed they are Lourison try using a Lourison clone safe image...as far as I am aware flashing a boot loader as long as it was for your box won't kill it if you used wrong boot loader you can flash correct one..

You can find images for your box at. VU+HD.com

lol yeah i have tried them all dont work

i know i have to format pendrive ect ect put the vu folder in the root of drive turn box off insert drive and power up but nothing happens
 
mate honestly you would not believe the s**t iv had to go through with them to get a refund it took a month for them to even begin contemplating even giving me one then i had to pay return shipping £60 they are a piss take all in all that took 7 weeks i just got fed up i just wont buy from them again

but that for trying to help me out

well well well i left the pendrive in and went down stairs to have some food ect ect and its loaded the pli image lmao guess it took longer to boot up than the 5-10 mins i have waited before

happy days if it all runs smooth

i will load vix image on the other box now also :banana::Wave:
 
it loaded open vix within 2 mins well i know i have done this the same as i always do but it just was not working lol but all good now woop woop lol now just have to set them up as i haven't set E2 receivers up b4 so any links to basic set up be good i have had a play abt but need a lil guidance
