VU+ Solo2 Lonrisun Clonesafe Images (for use with v4 flash only) - March 2015 updates

Apollo 153 works good , the older one wasnt zapping trough webif.. this one is perfect

i also tried VTI 8.0 and it works great !! i didnt stay with VTI cause they dont offer support for my avermedia dvb-t tunner... the A867r is not working even if the drivers are installed.

Images working fine.

Don't know why but when using the OpenVix image the box fan runs a hell of lot louder than any of the others.

All the other images work as normal just both OpenVix images.

Any ideas?

I want today make v4 flashed
I try reading this forum and i try writing setup
First time i need backing up your current image.But when i connect USB fat32 format disk and wont backup Black Hole 2.3.1 system dont want make Backup to UsB
First time : 1 connect to RS232 cable to pc,my usb rs232 to RS232 cable from original box not working I have windows 10 but before this usb cable to Rs232 conector working perfect with another enigma box,but with original cable from vu solo se box writing this :Open Com port failure...
2.I have now inside china solo 2 SE firmware Black Hole 2.3.1 driver from 22.11. First Time a must go this site :VU+ and X Website --- DownLoads
Install :Update Tools 20140906
3. Starting Update Tool and make Updating Proces
4 I download this firmware : Openli 4 VU solo 2 SE and install
whnen all good install it is 100percent sure Have V4? and next time can install VTI 8 V4 save clone firmware?

I make now this:
1. First of All Install Mcu_ Flash file With the RS-232 Cable from the folder
2. Switch off the Receiver
3. Open Hyper terminal
4. According to PDF guide Connect and load the boot laoder in this folder
5. After Successfull Complete Just Uplaod any Safe Image with Usb .
ALL OK .
I format USB fat32 and put Unran Image to USB
But now i dnot know how i can install Image from USB.. I put Image to USB and waiting long time and box dont want install image from USB,
Next i try off box and On and start button to panel 10second but nothnig install firmware
And when i try connect box to TV from HDMI box making only Black Screen
please how i can install now Image fromUSB..thak you so mouch

@fofo233, there is a thread here that may help with using v4 flash. Please post in that thread or if there is a mod handy maybe the last two posts could be moved?

Turn the fan speed down. I have the fan speed up high on my sunray box (which image was taken from just swapped drivers) as I have a quiet fan.

No actual way that I know.

You can disable the check which may already be disabled but you can check...

Menu > System > Software update settings > Background check to No

No image will update automatically it's down to user to run an update...
You can turn off image looking/checking for update in update settings.

Can anyone confirm which image is the best for IPTV?
i've already tested PBenigma 4.2 and now i'm on Black Hole 2.1.4 (very stable image but IPTV mainly TSmedia very slow to start!)

There is no best image..it's very hit and miss with TSmedia..as you know it's no good with openpli images so any other images that runs TSmedia really,I've only ever tried it in openvix and it was crap then as well..

I've had TSMedia and KodiDirect working fine on OpenPLI and OpenVIX,

However, I do find that OpenVix is generally a far more stable image.

Hi Ketmp.
I need a bit of advise here please.
I have a vu solo2 v2 lorinsen clone, i did the update to v4 no problem there, and fat32 usb stick and loaded the BlackHole 2.1.4 (build 05/12/14) which i found in your downloads here. The image went into the box without any problems and all fired up well.. but when i tried to do the Tuner setup it kept giving me a Tuner configs not setup and thats where i found the problem. So to move forward as i dont give up so easy i went into the addons and downloaded vhanibels motor e2 settings these when into the stb fine. I could go to any sat and worked ok, So to the next step i used dreamedit to upload the setting to the pc and made the lists as i like them and put them back into the stb and bump again it said Tuners not configured. So i tried again to do the Tuner setup and still no joy. So back to addons and again installed the vhanibels motor e2 and again all worked well. But please ketmp, can you tell me why when i want to make my own list even via the box remote editing and spending many hrs to do the lists the way i like them and then uploaded to the pc to save as a backup, and then back to the stb and bump same thing happened again said no Tuners configed, After many attemps with no joy i loaded Blackhole 2.1.1 for the vu hd x site that i downloaded from them as good messure and all works fine again, So if you can please tell me the solution to stop the problem with BlackHole 2.1.4 (build 05/12/14) from the downloads here please. to stop the tuner problem i seem to be getting as a fault.

About 3/4 other members (to the best of my knowledge), have had issues with tuner freezes up after flashing the v4 flash update.

It's really weird as probably almost all Lonrison clone users have probably got v4 flash update but only of recent have their been reports of tuner issues.

Some have posted in this thread. Could you post this info in that thread to help others.

Have you only recently bought your solo2 clone? Was it Solo2 SE? Is it definitely a Lonrison clone (ie sticker says visit vu-hd website?


UPDATE: Could you, also try Karl68's image here and report in that other thread above if that helps.
