Removing watermarks from photographs?

you wont be able to delete the water mark. however you maybe able to edit it,

you want to post the pic up ?

As Exclusive said; once it's watermarked, it's watermarked.

Depending on the size you could crop it out. But a lot of photographers are wise to this and will slap a copyright symbol or 'sample' in the middle or an important part of the image.

If you upload it I'm sure someone will give 'repairing' it a go.

Thanks for the replies guys.
As you say, the watermark is right across the centre of the photograph and it's quite a large one too.
The photo is a proof from the photographers website and was taken at a wedding I went to a couple of weeks ago. I suspect the proof isn't full def either.
I'll just order a print, so I suppose the watermark has done its job lol

He took 5000 photo's during the day!!!!
I think he took 4 or 5 of each scene so he could pick the best one though.
He has stuck nearly 200 on his website, so I wondered if I could "pinch" a good one of the kids ;)
I thought, if it is possible, someone here is bound to know how lol

Its virtually impossible lol.

when i watermark my pics i make it LARGE and embossed also add a lot of noise to it. that does the trick. no stealing my pictures!!! lol

That photographer is unlikely to starve. You have offers from folks here (me included) willing and able to save you money! Post the photo & see the results. You can always buy the thing later if you are not happy. :proud:
