HI,
got a nokia 2 intel box stuck on loading kernel.Initially it had kein system and at first i tried 3 different versions of IFA with different images with no luck at flashing .Although on 1.5.6 version it went through the whole flash process whenever box was switched back on it still said kein system. I then tried flashing with plain bootmanager using crossover and null modem cable, then with just crossover cable all with no no luck. A settings are correct, firewall off, antivirus off etc etc.
Finally I tried hyperterminal and over a number of days managed to get a few different images to load but they all stick on loading kernel.
i have attached a flash log attempt using the latest version of IFA while the box is stuck at the loading kernel stage and a bootlog.
thanx for lookin

Press the up arrow button on the box, plug in the box and check the output from the memory test in the bootlog.

sorry i posted one of the wrong bootlogs. this is as far as the boot log goes

can the cpu be removed with a hair dryer?? not that i own one as i got a head like a bowling ball

A professional equipment for BGA soldering is not comparable with a hair dryer. The cpu is connected via solder balls on the underside to the mainboard.

hmm just done a google search on BGA soldering and i think i will give this a miss, thanx mgb for the advice

Mine was doing the same with some Images, use Dbox Flashing Assistant (non english translation) and flash the dbox with a number of images, this worked fine with mine. i think it is when there is a bad flash it doesnt delete all the files from the boot.

I don't think you got exact the same behavior in the bootlog.
