DBOX II scan problem

I received a new dbox recently. Works fine with services and bouquets but if I try to scan for new channels, it fails to pick any channel and overwrites my services and bouquet file with some nonesense. I then have to copy back the services file to make it work. CAn anyone help to identify what the problems is? I need to scan for some of the base channels I am currently missing. Thanks

ould b just needs a newer image flashing on it Why not just download updated services for your area with the missing chans and ftp them across Were abouts are you.good luck ...Paul.....

In the scan menu set bouquets to leave existing
fast scan off
cc provider to 6952 or 6887
when finished reboot the box
the settings above are NOT for pacino
or as plasterer says flash another image on to it.
