Does Everyone get Intermittent Channels?

Hi All,
I have just recieved my box and quite easily managed to perform a succesful scan for all my area channels. A problem i am having is that when i switch channels (possibly too fast) I tend to loose some of them. Is this normal Or is there a problem with my box? If i goto the channel i want & then reset my box, it restarts with that channel but this takes up a lot of time. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Change ucodes or the camd
blue button then blue again and have a look around in there.
