iv transferred a image ie boxcracker to the tmp dir on the dbox and then flashed the image and rebooted my dbox. after tht i reset the network settings and transferred the services xml into /var/tuxbox/config/zapit/ folder + autoroll.key file into the /var/keys.

i set boxcracker to runs on evocam and tht should do it all i fink but i get the following message

please execute a scan
(dbox-key->service)

can some plz help me with this problem

had the same problem,mine was down to the wrong serice file for my area,finally got it to work on fta ,after trying a few different xml files.

were have youe you put the cable.xml & scan.conf & do they match each other when the scan.conf is executed

they should be in /var/tuxbox/config

Flash enigma image onto your box and do a scan then save the service.xml,ftp to boxcracker.You should then have your channels

Hi,

As "MrThick" says above, if you want to do a scan, an Enigma image should do a much better job. Apparently Neutrino images aren't as good at doing scans. You will probably need a couple of little programs to achieve this. VoxCalc will enable you to create a cables.xml file and Enconv to covert the services file you get when doing a scan with Enigma images to a services.xml file for use with a Neutrino image ( e.g Boxcracker ).
