boot

i have the cloud ibox 2 plus, i paid someone for the box and to set it up. i know nothing about the tech side of things. i had a power cut and now it just shows Boot on the front of the box. can anyone please assist how to re set.

It need to be reflash as the image is corrupt.

Download an image

Then unrar

1 copy this folder to your USB, put the USB to the receiver,
2 POWER ON, the receiver will read the folder Cloudix, wait
after you see the done on the front panel,
3 power OFF, and then take off the USB.

sorry for been really thick, but i dont know where you mean to down load the folder from to the USB stick ?

Re-download the image you require so if you're using OpenVix image then re-download this image for your specific box.

Then extract the folder "cloudix" to the USB stick (ideally ensuring nothing else is on usb stick already)

Then follow Ferret's instructions from point 2.

i have tried all the above, but to be honest its all above my head. does anybody know if there is a service where soneone comes out and does all the resetting?

In the right hand corner of home page.
Search cloud ibox 2
There will be a list of all things relating to cloud ibox.
Now 4th or 5th down there is an image uploaded by feret ie skiy image for cloud ibox2/3.
Download image
Format a usb stick/pen
Go to where u downloaded image ie downloads or if you goto the page you downloaded it should be at the bottom.
Open the winrar image and extract it to you usb stick.
Stick the usb in the back of your box.
Turn off box/turn on.
The box will start flashing.
After flashing the box will read done.
Turn off/ pull out usb stick

Now smile
