Dead sat tuner cloud ibox 2 plus. How to Fix ??

I have got a couple of boxes with this same fault for a mate of mine... The sat tuner is dead. I am an experienced user and its not image or settings related. Nor is it the dish or cable as this works fine on my other boxes...

I have checked the voltages with a multimeter on a working box and compared. There is a guy on fleabay offering a fix for this at silly price so it must be a common fault.... (still a new one to me though)

Upon bootup the working box gets 18.2v @ the LNB F connector socket, the non working box only gets 3.1v

I have also checked the F connector socket itself for shorts and or dry joints and belled out and compared voltages to both motherboards for comparison....

There must be some sort of hardware failure...
So can anyone help shed some light on the issue ?? Is there a known fix knocking about ?? Any suggestions ??

I dont know of a common fix for this however a have read the components responsible for voltage from the tuner are likely to be D1 on the underside of the board and C52 and C71.

All the info i have and ive had no experience of fixing this.
