Hi lads,
A friend of my picked up this box recently.
When he powered it up the box boots and the splash screen appears on the TV.
However, that's all, box displays BOOT.
Anybody experience this? any tips to get it working .

Regards,
Suttsy....

Sounds like the image on it is corrupt, id say try reflashing it to start with.

Problem you have is there are clones about and if you have one original images will brick it so id not recommend any image other than the universal ones i posted around august last year there for the ibox3 but work on the 2+. These work fine on clones and original boxes but you have to flash the universal bootloader first then the image.

Got it sorted ferret mate.
Tried your backup but had no luck!.
Eventually found one that worked, so I uploaded it for someone that may encounter the same issue.
Hopefully it will help a few out, https://www.digitalworldz.co.uk/index.php?resources/2940/:banana:
I had to actually change the name of the folder from xspeedlx to cloudix and it finally flashed.
Only issue is that its an old image, so I'm still looking for an updated working one.

Well your on the cloudix bootloader so your box is more than likely not a clone.[/QUOTE
Really? You wouldn't think it looking at the box, everything about it looks cheap & slapped together. I was convinced it was a clone!!
So is there a link for a site with genuine images so I could update it by any chance???

What bootloader and what folder system are you using xspeed or cloudix ?

There is also within the folder a file named force or noforce. If your file is named noforce then rename it to force and try flash again.

you may need to try a few different brand usb sticks

the box recognised my stick when I put bootloader on does it appear that i could of loaded wrong one on thats why I just got green light

Green light should not be a problem just needs an image thats suitable to the bootloader you flashed. hard to help you because you've not answered my previous questions.

i followed a guide put orginal cloudix bootloader on then tried to load an image after but just green light

could it be that the box could have read my usb stick for bootloader but now not for the image?

the front panel doesnt come up with boot or anything it is blank by the way with green light
