Should The Image Fail To Flash Find The File noforce in the xpeedlx folder and rename it to force

thanks for the file but I cant get it to flash tried various formatted usb sticks extracted to usb and ive change noforce to force tried both usb ports powered on box and still wont flash its a new box with pli on it any ideas

Just flashed it back to mine mate with no problems.

Try both the front and the rear usb slots and leave till the usb stops flashing.

Can be very iffy to flash these boxes

Use the HP format tool.

Make sure you rename the noforce file to force and use the rear usb slot.

If its a new box do i take it you haven't successfully flashed any image yet ?

yes m8 its a new box I did one last week and made a backup to usb and it wont flash onto this new one either ive just tried the atv back up and renamed force to noforce and vice versa so I take it that its fussy with usb sticks ill try the format tool

They are picky with sticks ive 4 sticks 3 work but my prized verbatim one wont.

ive tried usb stick I can find lying about but still no joy what make and size of stick do you have that works ill try to get one the same and see if I can get back up or any image to flash ,tried another box also ,also tried same sticks on a cloud2 and no problem.

So you have 2 ibox 3 that wont flash ?

The one's i have are Kingston and PNY sticks.

How many different make have you tried becuase something is not right here.

yes m8 tried 2 ibox3 and its Kingston sticks I have ,ill try get hold of other sticks or maybe format sticks in another pc

How long you leaving the stick in the rear slot after you power on ?

Any messages on the box at all ?

Are you using the HP format tool to format the sticks to fat32 ?

yes m8 format tool and fat32 ,left in box over 30 mins usb flashes but goes onto load splash screen as normal and will show channel if dish connected no messages

The splash screen of your current image.

Are you aware some splash screens from the likes of Vix image and HDF image are wrote to a different part of the flash and some other images dont always over write that splash screen as they dont have one.

For example if you flash the HDF image and then Openpli you would be left with a HDF splash screen but it will still be the PLI image that boots.

yes m8 am no stranger to flashing duo etc the boxes are not getting flashed the usb is only flashing to show its there box is not reading it

Finally got it flashed I got a cheap 4gb sandisk cruser blade of ebayer change noforce to force and went in first time ,thanks for your help m8 and the image of course

It is a bit picky but most think they have a usb stick issue when all they need to do is rename the noforce file in the cloudix folder to force.
