Wanted wiring diagram

Hi guys

has anyone got a workshop manual for a Mercedes Benz 190 as im after a photo copy/scan of the wiring diagram for a 1988 190E, more to the point any info on the electric windows !! I have removed the centre conole cover & the wires to the saftey switch for the rear windows are melted, the rear os window is stuck down & the only window that opens & closes is the drivers window !!

Anyone with some info PLEASE HELP !!!!

Best thing to do is remove the fuse, and rewire as per a normal leccy window setup

is the front window the same as back. would the front window switch not do to put it up as a temporary measure

I really think you need to discover why the wires melted before re connecting the window. Put a live to the motor to get the window up and leave it like that till you find the fault, last thing you want is a fire when your driving down the road

I thought of this earlier but I started to lose the light, so I'll have a go tomorrow.
I've removed the fuse from the window thats down ( just incase its constantly shorting) & I'll get a quote from an auto electrician before I get my mits on it
