VW Diesel 2.0L Chips

Are replacement chips available for US models? I'm worried I won't like my Diesel when it gets reprogrammed

Is re-programming compulsory? I know VW have to offer it but do you have to take the car in?

I haven't heard that it is, but I personally believe the state inspections will require proof that the repair has been made before passing inspection. In my state of Texas, you must pass inspection before registration is granted. No pass, no drive

The two popular tuners in the US are Malone and Rocketchip.

Both offer great service, and support.

There may even be a dealer in your area.

I'm looking to get a VW CC, would like it chip but will wait till they finish the recalls.
