Has anyone a radio code for our Peugeot 206?

Hi
My partner has just had a new car, a Peugeot 206. A code is required for the radio. The serial number is CL041 0Z0 132 064, and the Model number is PU-2325A(B).
It would be great if any one could help.

Hi royboy

If your partner brought the car from a garage be it a Peugeot or any other garage it is there responsibility to provide you with the code. Alternatively you can go to a Peugeot dealer and they hold all the codes.

Do you have the handbook for the car sometimes they put the radio code in them?.

It cost £19to buy the code and radio is worth 40 on ebay. While I was looking for codes on the net someone posted about how helpful this site had been, hence I am here. Oh, the manual does not have the code written in it. thanks roy

Roy £19.00 is not a bad price for a radio code mate it was £25.00 years ago. If its the standard radio for the vehicle I would pay the 19.00 after all, have you priced a new radio up recently for a Pug?.

Have you tried a default code such as 1234 or 0000 ?

hello again

the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet
is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
C 7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service
or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)
inside your radio this may not help but...

I have just checked the radio but the only number listed above th barcode is CL041... as already mentioned. Thank you very much for looking. The rear suspension spring snapped in my fiat and so I might treat my Mrs to a code since it looks like i will be travelling in her car this week end (shhhh lol)
