vasuhall corsa window wiper fault

Hi,

Wondering if you guys could help, my car got its first MOT today and they advised there is a problem with the linkage on one of my wipers and they thinks its a knowing issue with the corsa's.

Is this something I could go back to vauxhall with or would I need to get it fixed myself?

how old is the car m8?

08 plate mate, the guy who did they MOT said it would cost about £220 co they need to take it apart .He said I should phone vauxhall to see if they would fix it, I tried Googleing it but couldnt see anything.

I have not work on a corsa as young as that m8 so he might be right definitely phone Vauxhall you might be lucky

some cars may come as compete units,i remember old corsa wiper arms wore adding an extra 2 inches of wipe arearoud:

Your car has a funny wiper set up. You will notice that by looking at the different size wiper blades. Undo the 13mm nuts holding the wipers on. Look at the scuttle you will notice screws either side undo them and then carefully prize the scuttle off. There you have access to your wiper motor and wiper linkages.I think yours is the snap on ball connector ones flick it off with a screwdriver and snap the new one in place.

not for £200 the link arms,if the link arms are worn they fall off,a good all rounder is the fiat punto as they go all the time,we remove complete unit and drill through link arm into ball and put a screw with a washer not tightened up to hold arm in place saves the customer around euro180 for buying a new unit.

thanks for the reply, i'll go on the forum and see what I can see on there. I got told to phone Arnold Clark on Monday to see if its covered but I get the feeling there just going to tell me no or its because of the weather.
