UPC Direct & TNT Sat working.... using CCCam/Newcamd (Fausto/vplug/vplug server)

I am using the vplug server (allows hops, sharing to more than one receiver, saves running multiple FE's) to get TNT Sat & UPC Direct on my SpiderboxHD9000. I can enter CCCam or Newcamd lines into my Spiderbox. Using Newcamd atm.

You need your PC's IP (START > Run > CMD > IPCONFIG).

Download the vplug server program inc latest TNT Sat & UPC Direct keys and install into your DVB plugins folder inside Fausto, replacing the Viaccess.mdl and Cryptoworks.mdl files with the new late July/Early august ones.

Following setting up under each TAB on the actual vplug server program ie, under vPlug Server Options, tick CCcam Server Active. Probably can leave CCcam Server Version as 2.3.0. Enter you PC's IP address in CCcam Server IP and enter a spare port number in CCcam Server Port. Save.

Go to Edit Users and add a user name and password. Save.

The above details are those you will put in your C line on your box (in my case Spiderbox HD9000, but any Dreambox, Technomate that has a Linux based O/S and Newcamd/CCCam) or if you are not shareing to more than one receiver you could use Fausto's Serial Connection methods or Season Interface card.

Then Edit Cards. Each card identifies a CAID plus providers (eg 0500 030B00 for TNT & 0D02 0000A0 for UPC) you are interested in. Save. After you've entered the card(s) I suggest you 'Select' each card to make sure that the details have stuck properly. I always have trouble with this.

Edit Databases brings up a key editor. If you're familiar with vPlug, you'll recognize this.

That's pretty much it.

Here's a copy of my Fausto DVB PlugIns folder in case you need the vplug server, vplug, the Cryptoworks.mdl & Viaccess.mdl files and the Softcam.keys / v_keys......

Note: UPC Direct have already started counter measures with a changed Nano Bit in the ECMs of some channels (making Discovery Ch Hungary/Cze & AXN Hungary/Cze among a few others unavailable at this time)

More complete v_keys (remember I was using the vplug server to feed two receivers, this used the Softcam keys) but if just using Fausto and vplug from the MDI wrapper then these v_keys may be better:

how can I change one of the Edision softcam hypnos to put this!?

He does not accept the placements of the MOD & EXP I change directly in the box but it does not save the keys!
