Hi,
I transferred some old vhs to dvd using a vhs player and a dvd recorder. By using the 'long play function' when recording I managed to get about 2hrs 45 mins on the dvd.
I'm now trying to make a copy of this dvd on the laptop but having problems when trying the following methods:
1 - nero copy dvd - just spits out the disc after burning 1st chapter (there are 6 chapters) and says there has been a 'burning error.'
2 - copy dvd using windows 7 burning tool - appears to do the job but dvd plays on pc but not dvd player.
3- imgburn copy dvd by writing and burning iso - appears also to do the job but dvd plays on pc but not dvd player.
Anybody have any ideas? Could the fact that the original dvd recording was done with 'long play function' be causing the problem?
Thanks,
