ConvertXtoDVD, its easy to use and does the job great, the burner isnt very good though so convert the file and use a different program to burn the file like dvdfab or DVDSanta.

You can use a DVD Shrink 3.2, easy to use and freeware

DVD Shrink or Freemake Video Convertor can both resize the DVD (you will a small amount of quality). Alternatively burn to Dual Layer DVDR

cheers guys, dvd shrink did the trick

DVD Shrink is very good and a freeware add-on for this software is dvd43 which is a cp remover.

You may find that you can remove extras and additional languages, using DVD shrink. The main movie might be under the 4.7gb

Just after reading this and remembered a great prog for this job called Dvd2One, will also let you choose between movie only or movie with menus and which audio you wish to keep, plus it's quick.
