Hi,
Am making a backup of a dvd which is about 4 gig. DVD shrink etc wouldnt work as a error kept coming up. I then used DVD decrypter which copied the dvd to my hd, i was then about to use clone dvd to upload the file 2 a blank dvd. When i was doing that it said, found 1 file structure error, but wil let me write 2 the disk.
how do i fix this error, or find out what it is, and where in the dvd it is?

Thanks in advance
riks :)

if the dvd is 4gb just use dvd decrypter and then use nero 6 to write it back to dvdr
make sure the disc is clean this is where most faults originate from

honestly dont know m8
but u use dvdencryter to remove the dvd protection
then i use nero 6 to write it to dvdr

but as i said most faults that u get r when the dvd u r trying to copy has a bit of grease on so make sure u clean the dvd before u try to copy

Hi bad Karma, i cant remember, but it wouldnt let me carry on. I think its all sorted now.

If any one wants 2 know what i did was, use dvd decrypter, then dvd2one, then used clone dvd to burn it on disk. A bit long but i wanted to make sure it works.

Rick, if the original was only 4 gig you shouldnt have needed to use DVD2One, you could have just used DVD decrypter to read the original and write the copy. As davidh said always check that the original is clean if you have this problem in the future. Also if you have a DVD ROM and a DVD Writer in your machine and one of them is struggling to read a disc... always try it in the other drive as well, that sometimes works.

make sure the disc is clean this is where most faults originate from also burn at the slowest speed possible to cut down on errors
