Has my box blown in the thunder storm ?

Hi guys,

We had a huge thunder storm today and at one point my blade 5000's went off completely and then a few minutes later it came back on again .....

But now none of my lines seem to be working ??

All the channels are still there but like i say the lines are not working ???

Any ideas guys

have you triad rebooting modem/router see if that works

Yes mate as our laptops were also off but after that the laptops came back on,

Also i have put my 7000s back in and that is working fine all channels are there including $

One more thing, i went into blade online and tried to do a channel scan but i got the message " No network connection " ??

Is the network cable connected and working ok

Yes mate , the green little light in the back was flashing ..

Could i have fried something inside the box ?? there was a huge bolt of lightning then the box went off for a few minutes then it came back on, i never even tried the $ channels as we were just on the way out and we have only recently sat down do watch telly.

is the box getting an ip address and if the dhcp turned on

How do i check that mate ?

Right i just re set up the box after disconnecting my 7000 and reconnecting my 5000s and WTF it's all back on ???

I had this turned off earlier for a good while as we were out but this was way before i turned it back on to find the problem...

Anyway thanks for your help guys.

All sorted now but i still have no idea as to what it was ??
