Hi all

Been offered a bb for free but it's in a reboot loop. Not certain of model but its one of the touch screen models with the scroll pad thingy lol
Anyone know how to fix ?

Phone is a 9360. Not touch screen.
First lost network randomly. Then rebooted and keeps rebooting. Comes up with error message but can't get that till tomorrow

Several but no conclusive options. Have you tried Safe Mode? Take the battery out for 15-20 minutes then try again. If no joy, install the management software on a PC and connect the BB with the battery out then try and do an update or repair. You'll have to put the battery back in when it hangs at a message screen.

Now it has no wifi or network ? Can see wifi networks sometimes but won't connect to them. Then they vanish an it says no networks found. :-/

I have sometimes found intermittent issues such as this can often be cured by opening the thing up, removing the various panels & connectors from the mobo, cleaning the contacts & re-assemble. Humidity from pockets etc. can cause all sorts. You'll probably find guides on YT.

I had that problem once when i've taken out the battery when failed 10 times the password...

I tought i was typing the PIN for the sim card but BB was asking for my other password to unlock the phone, when i've realized what i was doing was too late! BB started to clean the mobile and i tought.... take the battery quick! duhhh.. software all gone, no mobile, nothing...

Later on i was able to recover the mobile software tought BB Software desktop using the recovery options.
