Hey guys does anyone know much about this phone ? I have an iphone and the missis was on about getting a storm and giving it me and her having my iphone which isnt a problem for me.

i was wondering if its easly unlocked as it will be on vodafone and im on O2 I have already unlocked my iphone so thats not an issue

also just some gen comments about it if any of you guys have one i guess i just want to know if its any good the reviews on utube are pretty poor

cheers guys

Hi, I have had mine since the beginning of december, I came from an N95 8gb and at first I absolutely hated it.

In the fist 14 day return period I wrapped it up 3 times to go back but each time my mate persuaded me to stick with it as he had been a Blackberry user for a while.

I now love it, the email push service is something I couldn't live without now I have had it. The touch screen is way better than the iPhone as you have that reassuring 'click' when you type.

Some parts of it still annoy the life out of me ( long winded selection of multiple text recipients etc) but the pluses far outweigh them.

its far from perfect but it works very well and has some fantastic features.

Cheers mate thats the kinda thing im after :) sounds good but im just not sure and the missis dont care as long as she gets mine lol so i just want to get the right one i guess, it does sound pretty good does it use wifi by the way ?

No sorry (to you and curly) it doesnt have wifi annoyingly, but most packages come with 'inet anyway.

I am not trying to oversell it, but I honestly haven't missed having wifi as I used to use it with my nokia.

Cheers Messa
The problem I have is that although I have my own sim card that has data, I normally have a sim card provided by work in the phone. This package doesn't have data enabled so this phone unfortunatly will have to be discounted. We have wifi all over work plus I have it at home, so I need to go down that route.

There seams to be a lot of choice these days when it comes to upgrading phones, it's blowing my mind lol

I've been using the HTC Diamond for a few weeks and it is outstanding in most regards. The amount of features packed into a small shiny casing makes it a fantastic phone. Take a look at it before you commit to another PDA/phone

While you're at it, have a look at the HTC Touch HD.

In my opinion one of the best phones out.

Screen is the biggest u can get for a touch screen phone at the moment i think (not too sure on that one lol)

The screen resolution is one of the best, think the Sony Xperia come closest to it.
