Sorry for starting anuva thread based on the shed but I didnt want to take over the other one already created and myne is not just a standard shed im after.

I need to create a brick shed, that has insulation in the walls, Electricity for lights and mains and a good quality roof.

We had a shed done 10 years back. It brick but was just for storage. The roof is messed up and leaks now which probbaly means my £400 bench in there is ruster and ruined, which I hardly got to use at the time.

Any how its time to redo the shed and make it into a mini gym/ relaxation room.

I've been told/quoted so far between £3000 - £5000 for a decent shed including all labour and materials.

Is the above price correct and if so could you recomend any 1 near or who travels to north east London who can build quality lasting sheds?

Cheers!

For everything you are after I would say that around £4000 would be a good quote, if it's from a reputable builders. You may also consider putting some low level heating in there when it's not in use to keep the place dry and free from problems.

When you say low level heating do you mean, under floor heating or normal heaters?
If normal heaters, couldnt I just use a normal electric one, which wouldturn out cheaper in the long run?

Cheers!

Also does any 1 know any shed builders around North East London or travels to North East London?

Cheers!

Guys I am thinking of buying the material's myself and then paying for labour charge.
What materials will I need?
Thinking of using wooden flooring so it doesnt get as cold, is that adviseable instead of floor tileing?

I will also need to wire from my house to the shed so it has electric points, whats the best way of getting this all sorted?
Im sure the builder will know what to do but I just want to make sure I have the materials so I can advise him the way it should be done as professional as possible?

You need to use armoured cable to run a electricity supply from your house to the shed.

Cheers for that m8, and any ideas for the materials for the shed m8?
