is this the best and loudest mp3 player or is there better ?? please help

The "loudness" of an MP3 player will always depend on the power of the speakers you are using with it.

With the right speakers even a cheap £10 MP3 player will be loud.

I have used a cheap Kubik MP3 player with my in-car radio and it's every bit as loud and clear as the cd player, it plays FLAC files too.

If you connect the MP3 player to the speaker using the headphone jack and you turn the volume up fully on the MP3 player all you will get is distortion as the headphone output is higher than line level.

If you connect the MP3 player via blutooth then the volume on the MP3 player may not even do anything so the volume will be adjusted on the speakers.

If you connect the MP3 player vis USB port again it's likely the volume control on the MP3 player will not be used. So again it will be the same volume as many other cheaper or more expensive MP3 players.

As to the quuestion of the player being good I cannot answer as I have never had one, but I can tell you that it has no better or worse features than my £18 kubik player that sounds great in my car.

cheers for the reply Captin , there is mp3 players that go loud than others that why I'm asking the question , I'm connecting it to a bose speaker .

You are really looking for the bose to give you the volume as high gain on the input side will lead to distortion, its a bit like cranking up the pre-amp on a tube amp to get distorted sound ;)

As IANB and Captin have said, loudness is a function of the speaker, not the mp3 player. If you overload the input sensitivity of the speaker the result will be excruciating.

Not that I ever watch them, but perhaps someone should tell the 'foreign' satellite TV stations this- especially the raving muslim ones!

It might help to clarify things ttony if I point out that posts #3,#5 and #6 refer to the use of an amplified speaker such as the Bose that you're using.

The output power of the mp3 player would only be a factor if a passive speaker(or earphones) were used.

thanx for all the advice people

I understand if I have it to loud it will distort the sound , I have a tiny go gear old mp3 player and noticed that other mp3 players play louder , all I was asking is are there any mp3 players that play louder than the one I have found ...
