If you look at this interesting map,

You can see they are part of UNS holdings who also supply the likes of easynews, newshosting and newsleecher so I expect the same level of DMCA takedowns. Speed wise, not heard of any specific issues.

i was with newsdemon for alot of years but when matrix left the scene so did i as that was the only indexing site i used and DMCA as become a real nightmare and don't think theres anything worth grabbing anymore from news hosters (i may be wrong, if so let me know)

there is plenty of stuff out there, you just need to be smarter about it. When newsbin and nzbmatrix indexing sites went mainstream, I knew it got too easy and things were going to change.

But with private indexers and automated watch and download tools its still my main download source.

Seems to be working well here,VPN reduces my speed by about 20% on average, which is not bad at all imho

me too..just signed up..see how good or bad it is regarding takedowns..

That diagram seems to be a little off.

Easynews, Newshosting etc.. are actually owned by Highwinds Network Group.

UNS Holdings Inc are just another usenet provider who go under the name UsenetServer, which also get their usenet service from Highwinds Network Group, but are listed as Eweka's sister company, they don't seem to provide to anyone else.

Personally I'm sticking with Newsleecher for my Usenet as it also includes a licensed version of Newsleecher (the program) and unlimited supersearch. Not had any problems with them so far, unlike Astraweb who I switched from.

Tbh I only switched from newsleecher because of the price difference, it's only $2 cheaper I know but at least I have a VPN to mess about with :)

From what I understand Highwinds and USN are one and the same. Newshosting & Easynews and Eweka are owned by them but have their own server infrastructure.

If you are really interested then I would have a look here,

I am with Astraweb and their completion rate and customer service has been good enough for me so far.
