Thanks guys, I am also trying to work out between processors... I found a i3 for £310

So the laptop I posted yesterday for £279.99 would be a good deal.. however a i3 because of the actual processor and its build quality (which is also a dual???) would be allot better.. than a dual pentium processor ?

I read that I(i) series processors absolutely smash the amd and all other processors out there ?

I dunno, getting myself confused lol.

Sainsburys were doing this laptop for 229 or 249 last week. Unlikely you will find one.

But its worth while checking to see if they have any cheap ones left. They were selling of loads. Even a second green i5 for 249

I just got this from Curry's last month for my son 0% finance for 12month. I always use Currys even if I have cash I still use the 12 month finance becauseof the warrenty and stuff if sommicks breaks are goes faulty in the first 12 month and they wont replace it, simple dont pay for it.:Frog:

Doesn't work that, they have you in contract for the finance, and it isn't with the supplier/retailer as they still get paid, so you end up owing the money to the finance company for which they can seek payment through debt collection.

Reasonably priced, but there are better deals.

Very true but ive had debt collectors at my door many times in the past and no body has ever had a penny of me or any items. Anyway I have always been fortunate that all the items I have got from currys have never broke, so touch wood it stay's that way )

The i desktop series are very good yes don't know much about the mobile series the i7's do trounce everything in their path but a good amd setup still isn't bad :)

Think of the i3 as the old celeron the i5 as the standard pentium and the i7 as a pentium with all the added stuff :)
