this has never been confirmed.

the only way this will be possible is via a software update, which from alot of the info i have, read is very unlikely.

there were no DVB-T2 chips in existence at the time of PLAY TV's development

thanks for the quick update mate another reason not to get one well not yet anyway.

These look really good seen it a while back but held off getting it. Anyone know if there will be a later model?

Also, do they have an input port or something where you can plug in an external tuner in and record off that. Ie, a cable box?

these are fantastic for the money at this price. but they will be very limited stock

they dont have any input ports, they can only record freeview, but they do a great job.

They dont do Freeview+ either. It would seem that its pretty much been abandoned by Sony which is a shame as it could have been so much better.

On a funnier note ... Game had a Pre-Owned one in for £49.99 ;-)
