Samsung 37 lcd

Just bought a samsung 37 inch of gumtree.
The prob with the tv is it keeps going on standby but for 25.00 i thought it was worth the gamble.
Hopefully there maybe someone who can give me some advise.
I was thinking if i bought a power board of bay would this sort the tv.
Any help here guys as this is just a venture?

The tv does turn on sometimes so hopefully nothing serious.

afaik i think its just the power supply , a friend bought a load of flatscreens online and sourced the power supplies they all had the same problem

@nistleboy search samsung tv fault on here could be caps on a board. Open the back and look for any swollen bulging caps
