I have a lcd tv that someone (not me) tried to clean with a baby wipe. It has left some really bad streaks on the screen and I was hoping someone could recommend a good cleaning product. Thanks

With the screen off and cool, try a warm, damp cloth (just water, no soap).

If that doesn't work; anything that's clearly marked as screen cleaner should. They're all the same: deionised water and mild, plastic-safe detergents.

If the instructions say to spray directly onto the screen, make sure it's turned off and preferably cool. Wipes and cleaners that are sprayed onto cloth can be used on warm screens, but cold will slow evaporation.

Yep always just used a warm damp naked cloth and polished off with a clean tea towel or the like...
I have also used a chamois leather slightly damp this dos a brill job not using any pressure just up and down the screen gently..

Agree with the above apart from the Screen Cleaner part, Most of the AV forums recommend a Micro fibre cloth in Cold Water (Damp) clean the screen as above switched off and still cold leave a minute or two and then gently wipe over again with another Micro Fibre Cloth (Dry Obviously). I would never use any shop bought solution

I clean all my Screens the same way and have never had any problems with Streaks etc....

Thanks guys I will give it a go when I get home from work

It took a long time but I got the most of it off with a damp microfiber cloth.
Thanks
