My trusty old Panasonic plasma TH50PZ70B has been playing me up for a while now and I can't figure if it's on it's way out or there's interference from elsewhere.
What's happening is , whenever's there's bright red colour (mainly in the centre to right) a hazy moving pixelated line appears. I tends to be on brighter pictures, like there's interference from elsewhere. It reminds me on old tv's when you get bleed from other sources showing through.

I have turned all the settings on/off on the TV and tried different sources and HDMI cables and it's still there making me pretty sure it's the tv. Tbh , I've played around with it till the cows come home and now I'm wondering if it's new tv time or is there anyway to run a test or anything. I have tried to take a couple of pictures of the problem, any advise would be appreciated;-

After taking another good look ans playing around with the colour settings the hazy line does travel through other colours but is worse with reds.

The pictures look grainy as if it is a reflection off a laminate floor. Plasmas always look grainy. Keep trying those settings and if you have an xbox, ps or dvd player or a sly box try each one in turn disconnected to check for any interference issues?.

I tried unpluggin everything ,I tried it on a ps3, satbox, Tivo and it does it on them all. I could do with a Calibration DVD of some sort see if that helps or change some things in the secret engineers menu but I don't wanna mess too much incase I screw things up.

I went into the secret menu and you can flick through different test screens i.e. blue , red, green etc. What I did notice was there was lots of dots like dead pixels . When on a white screen they were pinkish red , when on a blue test screen they were black dots and a fair few of them.
I'm not that overclued on all this but I did read something about resetting the screen by running a dvd or test or something , it kinda lost me.
