using a 50" LG Tv and have now purchased a LG sound bar
thing i don't understand is

if i put films on a usb stick put it in the sound bar comes up with no files found ?

if i put the same usb stick in the Tv ---- the films are there but when i play one of the films the sound is just blasting out ? i thought these sound bars corrected the volume etc
have the films got to be in a certain format ?
anyone had these probs

why would the soundbar (an audio device) play films? it'll be the TV settings that auto correct the sound if it has that feature

thanks for reply Mano it says this on the box

USB connectivity

Simply connect your flash drive or external hard drive to the USB port to play your contents. View your images, videos and listen to your favourite music with one simple connection.

hi m8 through an optical lead

Optical is audio only so i'm not sure how it would transmit the video from the soundbar to the TV - unless there's a HDMI out from the soundbar to the TV. It's possible it only supports certain file formats, maybe mobile ones like .mp4

just found out exFAT files not supported

thanks for your input anyway cheers
