Hi,

My gf streams a lot and watches stuff on her laptop. Now, however, she wants to stream straight to the TV. She uses Netflix, BBC iplayer, 4od , STV player and the tv she has is a Samsung le32c580j1k. What does she need, she was going to get this

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Roku-3100EU-Receiver-Set-Top-Box/dp/B006VTASW4/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

but I don't think that has all the channels she uses.. am I right? Can anyoneone suggest a bit of kit for her?

Thanks in advance.

The PS3 has all the options you mention.

But if she downloads .mkv files and doesn't want to mess around with converting or TVersity etc she'll be better off with some sort of nettop. The Acer Revo R3700 is a popular choice, but if she wants an optical drive too the Acer Revo RL100 or one of the Zotac Zbox ODD boxes may be the best choice.

pc to tv adapter is no good as she wants to bypass the laptop all together, Nettop is too expensive so think we may need to look at the PS3
