LG 37LF7700 freesat tv usb hack?????

Hi guys,

started having problems watching films through my ps3 (cinavia) so am now after another solution.

have had a search but carnt seem to find any help on if this TV can be usb hacked or not.

any ideas?

some were saying goto menu options then press fav 7 times to open up a service menu but this doesnt seem to do anything for me?

Ive been looking and cant see that anyone has succeeded with this model yet, the firmware is available under the GNU but it seems to have bugs when it is compiled

you can get a fairly cheap media player from ebuyer these days, 20 quid

cheers for the info, i did buy a sumvision cyclone 2 media player from ebay in the end. It works a treat with the tv & plays everything sofar that i have tried. Only slight problem with it is that when i connect it to my projector I only get video when using hdmi. projector doesnt have audio out. I did try using both hdmi & av at the same time but i couldnt get the sound to work. ie hdmi from media player to projector + av lead white red to aux on my surround sound. I think it is either hdmi or av out on the media player & not both.

im now thinking of buying a bluray player to connect upto my projector.
