Win scp default password?

I have forgotten my password to connect my laptop to Apple TV 1st gen using winscp. I'm sure I used a guide when I first set it up and that. I used the default user name and password, stuck my IP address as the host name and all was well. I thought the password was password and user name was XBMC but I can't connect any more. Is there an easy way around this as I wanted to transfer some saved films to the iPad for my holiday.

I guess I could copy the files from the ATV to a USB stick and then transfer them from their to laptop and then to iPad but wondered if there was a way to recover the password or just set up a new connection.

Edit update:Found it, user name and password both 'ATV'

Apple TV 1 Username : ATV Password : ATV
Apple TV 2 Username root or mobile Password: alpine
