iPod ipod / itunes question

ok i have my music sync'd on a laptop that is being sent back for a replacement now ordinarlily its fine to sync with a new laptop however i have spent ages changing all the names of songs/albums etc.. on itunes is there a way i can sort this on new laptop without typing the names in again??
 
if iv read right, you can upload your tunes from your ipod to pc an they will still have the names you inputed, sorry if you were meaning something else

got this handy software from ipod section on here last night

As said above sharepod will do it, I don't even use itunes any more m8.
 
If you have an external drive, you can copy the songs to that, then onto the new laptop - it will keep the itunes edited id3 tags.

FWIW I'd make sure you have any important data saved from the laptop being sent for replacement.
 
as ever guys thanks for your help will leave rep.. and have a look at the above.. the only thing that pisses me off about iphones is the lack of drag and drop functionality! lol

it puzzles me why you buy anything technical pmsl
u break everything.
 
why dont you just set your ipod to manually manage , then it dont wipe anything of when you plug it into any pc.
