iPhone Recommend good VPN

Stay well clear of free VPNs and get one that does NOT log you data.

Depends on what you're using it for tbh.

There is a good write up on torrentfreak that shows information about various VPNs, those that log, location of services et al.

Personally I use nord, based in panama, no logging policy, offer a double VPN if required (Goes via Tor).

Thank you for the advice "River4ever" I will avoid the free ones on your advice, I don't want it to log my data. Thanks "janobi" I will check out torrentfreak.

I asked PIA if it's 5 devices on same IP and they said "no"
will work on 5 devices and does not have to be on same IP. Just tried it there on different phone. With one on wifi and other on mobile network and worked.
I came across this if you need to run it on firestick. It would do harm to run a VPN on kodi as letters are being sent out to people.

Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.

If a DD-WRT router was configured with this, would devices connected to that router count as additional devices? 5 devices isn't very much these days.

I'm currently testing a free 3 day trial of NordVpn it works well, and does what it's meant to and as mentioned it's based in Panama with no logging, but as mentioned in an earlier post the speeds are not great.I have a solid 70 meg broadband connection and when connected to the VPN I'm hitting between 20 to 30 meg tops on the best servers(UK and USA) and the other servers are way worse and I have tried most of them so for $79 for 2 year it's maybe not so good depending your needs,I will be looking at the others suggested, has anyone tried IPVanish, seems to be pretty fast compared to Nord.

IPVanish is/was good seems to be pushing for all these days no idea if standards will be same

Why not configure your own VPN? Setup a VPS at DigitalOcean, they have great guides to configuring your own VPN server.

Just as I always say about free VPNs.
You should never use them. Things are free for a reason. I came across this.
Especially on android devices and if your using one that is detailed in link I would recommend you consider other options.

not bothered as far as android goes but my pc different case VM with a VPN and run a TOR browser. if i wish lol which still aint fool proof if someone wants to do it they will

And users need to realize that a VPN hides your IP address, it doesn't necessarily make you untraceable since a 'fingerprint' of your system could still be obtained It only took one time for Sabu of Lulzsec to forget to use his TOR connection for the FBI to nail him. With the more modern tools they have today that can 'fingerprint' a system the ability to remain hidden is greatly reduced. online means risk for all sadly no matter what security in place
