iPhone iphone 4 glass replacement

my son has smashed the glass on te front ofr his brand new iphone 4 , does anyone onhere fix these and if so can you message me with your prices and location please.

I done one not long ago and i must say what a FECKING nightmare.

you have to dismantle the entire phone from the back to the fron the get access to the glass.

also i couldnt get the glass off without damaging the LCD so had to buy both to repair it.

the tiny screws are a pain to put back in.


sorry to say m8 I wont be ever doing another one lol.

the easy way is to buy the lcd, digitizer screen all together , it might be more expensive , but like the previos poster has said you might damage the digitizer anyway ,ive done a few mate,, totally reverse to a 3g or 3gs where its the back thats a pain to change the front isnt that hard , on the other hand it should come with an apple 12 month warrenty.

How bad is the damage, the iPhone 4 screens cracks very easily, if it is not too bad leave it, you only drop it again

Just a quick heads up. I know people are selling the LCD and the digitisers seperately on eBay, but they re as much use as a fish with tits.
These are bonded using a very expensive machine. If you do manage to seperate them, it will look awful when you try to bond them. £30 is a small price to pay. We see a few of these a week where people have tried.

Also, with the first one you do, allow a good hour. It is fiddly, but not really that bad if you take your time.

Take your time and make a little map for the screws as most are different sizes ,and remember to remove the mesh earpiece cover as new screens dont come with it on and the camera surround
Ive done a few of these for friends after the first 1 they get easier
But always buy the complete front I made the mistake once of buying seperate it was not pretty

if its still in warranty try and go to the apple shop.. sometimes depending on ther mood they might swap it for you..
