Redsn0w 0.9.6rc14 is now available which adds support for untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4 on the latest iOS 4.3.2 firmware. Those of you who rely on a carrier unlock MUST STAY AWAY from Redsn0w and stock iOS 4.3.2 firmware and wait for the updated version of Sn0wbreeze and PwnageTool.

For those of you who don’t know, iOS 4.3.2 was originally jailbroken last week using PwnageTool bundles (on Mac) but it was limited to tethered boot. But now with this latest version of Redsn0w, you can jailbreak your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch fully untethered on the latest iOS 4.3.2 firmware.

Steps for jailbreaking iOS 4.3.2 untethered using Redsn0w 0.9.6rc14 are exactly similar to the last release. Simply download Redsn0w 0.9.6rc14 for Windows or Mac from the links given below, and then follow our detailed step by step instructions Here Jailbreak 4.3.2 Untethered iPhone, iPad, iPod touch Using Redsn0w [Tutorial]Redmond Pie[/url] to jailbreak iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod touch 4G / 3G, and iPad running the latest iOS 4.3.2 firmware.

Hi biffo, i was thinking about jailbreaking my new iphone tonight but i was a bit confused by the

Step 1: Download iOS 4.3.2 for iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. (download links given at the bottom)

Step 2: Update/Restore to iOS 4.3.2 firmware using the IPSW file you just downloaded via iTunes 10.2.2.

part. my device already has 4.3.2 so do i need to restore to the downloaded file anyway? or can i skip that part? also, if i do restore to the ispw file, will i lose all my apps and contacts etc?

Its a bit confusing i know mate , to jaiilbreak even if your iphone its on 4.3.2 you still need the 4.3.2 ipsw file , when you use redsn0w it uses that 4.3.2 ipsw file to use in the jailbreak , download it in chrome 4.3.2 fw download

any benefits from having 4.3.2 fw on? any other features? and biffo u reckon i should do this so it will update my bb and so that i can get full signal and possibly fix my iphone?

thanks

the 4.3.2 update to fix Verizon iPad 2 issues which have 3G freezing connections. Additionally, the update come to fix FaceTime and some security holes.
regarding your signal issue , if you dont need an unlock mate like me i just updated the baseband ,and jailbroke using Redsn0w i couldn`t get sn0wbreeze to work no matter what i did,
Personal choice mate at the end of the day.
there`s a few themes and apps i used to use that are not compitable with this jailbreak

im using greenpoison on 4.2.1 which was my first ever jailbreak and everything was easy (thankfully) lol is it worth updating to latest version for jailbreak or just stick with older working version. also if i want to remove my jailbreak and go back to original apple software, do i just connect to itunes and do the update phone ? tempted to upgrade to this new redsnow, but always a bit scared incase something goes wrong lol

Hi Mate if your happy and all is working with your iphone dont update, if curiosity gets the better of you, update via itunes to 4.3.2 and jailbreak again with redsn0w, the principle of the greenposi0n and the redsn0w jailbreaks are the same , both need to have your idevice in Dfu mode, you will need to download, even if you update and restore in itunes the original 4.3.2 ipsw for your device, Gwt that from Here use google chrome to download the file , once downloaded, and you have updated restored to 4.3.2 in itunes, download Redsn0w 0.9.6rc14 from Here right click and run as admin, if you are on windows vista or windows 7 right click the .exe file /compataility tap and choose run in xp mode apply /save/exit.
Right click the redsn0w .exe file and run as admin again, and follow the instructions mate .
Personal choice at the end of the day just remember TO BACK UP YOUR IDEVICE 1st
