Right.
I am not sure if this something new, however I do not want to ssh into my phone to install .deb files as this has caused an issue before.
So I have found a nice easy way to install a deb files that takes all of 30 seconds.
Install IFile from cydia.
Email yourself the .deb as an attachment. (need this email as an account on idevice)
Open attachment in email, ifile should detect it.
Click installer
Done
