iPhone Some Questions on 3gs

Right ok here goes

new to the apple jail breaking scene

firstly how easy is it to jailbreak a 16gb 3gs
secondly is there a chance i could screw it up to an extent it cant be rectified?
once jail broken is that it done for good? or do i have to keep jail breaking it?

Just jb a 3g myself. My pc for some reason didn't like to do it but laptop worked fine. If you do have problems you can restore without a problem. If that hangs or you get a 1604 error then follow my other post too fix it. Tbh 99% of the time should ber as easy as plug in and press make it rain

its 50 - 50

you can jail break it but the latest ones - when you jail break and if you ever switch the phone off it will be stuck on itunes logo and then you have to jail break again.

go to settings - general - about and tell me your model number

It seems like you have the letest model which when you jailbreak it and if you do switch the phone off it will stay on the itunes logo until you jailbreak it again using a pc... to jailbreak tho it will only take a like a minute with a one press of a button
