iPad IPad's for Christmas

I'm after a couple of IPad's for Christmas presents, whats the options ? I know absoulty jacksh*it about IPad's or infact any Apple product.
Any advise would be appreciated

the problem with ipads they can be over priced I have been looking at the ipad 4 mini for the wife, worked into asda Thursday last week and they was selling them half price £189 normally the are £369 so I jumped at that offer, they may still have some.
