iPad Download films for holiday?

Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm on my mobile so search function is poor.

I'm going on holiday next week to Majorca, is there any way to download films for the kids to watch since sky go won't work since it's outside the UK?

Playboxhd allows u to download I think, can't be certain though I don't use apple

i use a small laptop with hdmi output when i go away...as most places now have a flat screen televisions in the room

then use a program called makeMKV to backup your DVD then copy into kodi

just download movies from the usual place,
use freemaker video converter to convert to a format that your ipad likes,
then use synchios or similar to import the video to your ipad, no jailbreak required....

Cheers lads knew I should have went for a android instead of apple lol.

This is the simplest way ^^^^^

You only need to convert to save space though. There are plenty of players that will play most formats. Even kodi will work if you a jail broken . Only convert if space is an issue. If you standard definition films and you have enough space just transfer them over.

Don't forget syncios will only work on you computer if iTunes is installed as it needs the drivers.

Ah right I get ya. Don't suppose theres some sort of adapter that plugs into the lightening port at one end then a USB at the other? Space will be a issue as its only a 16gb and nearly full of kids games
