I already have a personal Iphone 6 as well as other apple products and have them set up with the one Apple ID. I had no problems setting up and have them working together - photos, pick up where you left off, etc.

But I have just been issued with an Iphone SE at work and have come up with a problem. I have set it up with my existing apple account and everything is fine except for the phone and message functions. Facetime and imessage are coming up saying that they will use my personal phone number rather than my work phone number. Presumably this will cause problems in that if someone returns a message, for instance it will be sent back on my personal number if someone returns the message as a text.

I think what I am saying is that I want my work phone calls and messages to be kept separate and work colleagues not to have my personal phone number but to have the app functionality of my apple account.

Does anyone else have two Iphones set up on the same apple id?

Think I may have resolved this. In the settings for facetime it lists both telephone numbers so I deselected the other number. In messages, in send and receive, I did the same thing. I then cleared the logs.

This has definitely worked for messages - I only get the messages on the relevant phone.

It hasn't worked for phone calls though so may have to look further.
