Guppies, small with fan like tails
Platties, bigger mainly orange

its funny to watch, when the bubbles are on they are excitable lol, when I turn it off they kinda chill :)

Great to see fishes in there at last :)

Looks really good that, looks like a lot of hard work went into that.
Im one of those that keeps saying i'll do something similar but never gets round to it.
 
Nice one mate, glad you've got it up & running after your research & the work you put in. Showed it to my 10 year old & he said 'very nice' Trust me mate that is a big compliment from him!! Just got to persuade his mum that we need one too :banana: :proud: :banana:

that java fern grows like fook,got a piece in my tank attached to a terracota stick with some java moss,it was about half the size of yours,will take a pic tomorrow if i remember after the ale
 
ignore airstone i have a bga (blue green algae) problem at the the mo and put that in for more aeration

yep.i trimmed quite a few times and the pieces i thrown was bigger than the piece i originally got
 
Nice pics. I picked up a freshwater clam today. Just looked like a shell, but it came out and has burrowed under my sand substrate. Hopefully it should help keep my bottom clean! ;)

just took a little pic of dory (my kids favourite fish) he is about 10" (huge and the boss of the tank), in the back ground you can see my flame angel this iphone camera does not do this fish justice lol, i am just cleaning the tank now as i have not done it for ages.. Maybe two weeks lol.

Speckled Molly, 2 platies the yellowy one we think is the 1 having fry :) and a blurry Guppy :)

managed to get a picture of 1 guppy fry :) bit blurry as these babies are fast lol all of a sudden there off like a shot

look at a piece of gravel in comparison see how tiny the fry is
