As title says, my S6 is asking me to download a major s/w update from its current version 6.01. Having heard numerous horror stories of updating devices too soon (i.e. before the bugs have been ironed out) I am wary about letting it go ahead, after all, it does work perfectly well at present. Has anyone on here done the update?
And my other worry is that the phone was network unlocked by a local 'Asian' shop. Is there a chance (like when an iPhone is updated it undoes a jailbreak) I will need to have mine unlocked again?

TIA.

My wifes updated tonight
so far so good but who knows what she will notice in a day or 2 lol :)

All good at the moment though mate from what I can see

i updated my s6 and it seems ok battery is ok for afew days too :)

I have updated my s7 a few days ago and its seems fine

Thanks for the replies guys.
For some reason mine keeps failing to update- it's tried 3 times now; downloads the file but the install fails. But my Tab S2 did it fine. Can't see much difference TBH, just a bit more bloatware.
My S6 was 'inexpertly' unlocked- (it forgets wifi codes- a known symptom of a butchered job) perhaps that has something to do with it. BUT it works, I'll live with it :)

This is the latest fw, it can be installed using Odin. It might wipe phone though so check first if you decide to try it.
