I've currently got an unused a basic cheap Android tablet that I wish to combine with a CCTV camera for the prevention of theft and recording.

I'm aware there's cctv camera IP types and hard wired too, the tablet is likely to be on mains power and if I can hardware a cctv camera unit then so be it, I'm seeking advice on:

Minimal set up
Fairly decent imagery, at least HD quality
Recommendations
Helpful Links

Thanks in advance.

If you get a CCTV DVR then using your android devices you would be able to install an App (Y-Cam for example but plenty of choice and free) and view your camera system on that.
I have seem 8 channels systems which comes with 4 dome cameras on a certain bidding site for about 65 quid.

The other way would be to buy a specific IP cameras and you could then use a browser via your android device to view that camera or cameras depending on how many you buy.

Ideally I'm attempting to avoid hard wire if possible so those IP cameras maybe the most simplistic option, although the camera will obviously still a require a permanent power source.
